It's been a while since I last posted anything on here i have seen otters but not been able to get any good photos so instead i thought i would post these photos of the northern lights .I spent a couple of hours outside with the camera and watched the most amazing show i have ever seen .They started in the north and slowly worked there way over more then half the sky the last three photos i had the camera pointing straight up  .

It been a while since i last updated the blog i have been really busy i was out yesterday all i saw was this Great spotted woodpecker .

Beautiful weather at the moment here so i thought it would be a perfect chance to get some bird photos the blue sky makes for a good shot .I was able to get some good shots of the Terns and some good Guillemots i saw one otter but was to far away to get any good photos .

Out for a walk  and saw this family group feeding only managed to get a few photos the light was not very good and so i had to set the camera at 1000 iso so the photos are not brilliant

I have had a busy week but i managed to get out today to check some new locations for otters and i found this one feeding .I watched it for about an hour eating small crabs and fish .

Out today for a walk saw a few Otters and got some good photos of seals.I then found this dead Minke whale washed up it was about 10 or 12 feet long and had not been dead for very long i have reported it and hopefully they will come and take samples from it too see if they tell what killed it .

Out today for the first time in a while the weather has not been very good lately but i manged to find five otters and get these photos of the family group i have been following.
